Established in 1969
Presentation Media Incorporated (PMI) was founded in 1969 as the premier source for presentation visual aids in the aerospace and defense industry providing all aspects of presentation support including art design, view graphs, flip charts, and posters. What made PMI so special was that we produced these aids overnight. This allowed our clients to spend more time developing the content of their proposals and presentations giving them a competitive advantage toward winning new business.
After that, PMI developed 2 other divisions to support photographic processing and the production of displays as well as lithographic printing. These 3 divisions – commercial graphics, photo services, and lithographic printing created a complete commercial graphic arts offering of products that was complimented with intimate customer service and overnight production with no overtime charges.

Acquisitions
In 2007, we acquired Classic Letters and added a complete fabrication department that promoted the production of dimensional letters, logos, and signs through a fully functional machine shop capable of metal, wood, acrylic, and urethane fabrication. Specializing in interior, high-end projects, Classic Letters added tremendous synergy to our offerings. Along with 3D printing and rapid prototyping, our division known as PMISigns has given our clients dimensional visibility.
Distribution Rights
Then in 2009, PMI acquired the exclusive distribution rights for Nomadic Display in Los Angeles. Along with the acquisition of ESP Exhibits in 2012, our Trade Show Division offers our clients solutions for any budget ranging from popup booths and banner stands to portable and custom modular exhibits. We also offer rental exhibits that help us to tailor cost-conscious solutions to maximize impact of budget.
Commercial Interior Design
PMI acquired ColorTek Digital in 2011. This division caters to commercial interior designers and artists to produce the finest digital art and displays. From Giclee gallery-wrapped canvas to direct printing on metals, this elite division truly dazzles. With consultation services and complete design capability, ColorTek Digital stands alone in high quality commercial art production.
New Corporate Headquarters
In 2015 PMI moved to their new corporate headquarters in Redondo Beach, CA. The production facility remained in Gardena. PMI also acquired ADAGE, a company with a long history of great products and customer service specializing in digital prints and Trade Show displays.
